TTC EXPANSION
Toronto has been going through some exciting major changes, one of which is the Toronto York-Spadina TTC subway extension currently under way. This subway extension will bring the University subway line more north east with new stops along the extension that ends at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. The new stations features modern and ecofriendly designs that will help Toronto evolve into an ever more interesting city. The Downsview Park Station will provide access to TTC subways and buses, GO Transit service, as well as access to the Downsview park community. The station not only intends to incorporate elements of the park, but also make it become integrated with the park through its design. It is being designed and built using sustainable principles that will help make it a key green feature within Toronto. The subway extension is expected to be completed by Fall 2016. Image
